David moved to California in 1990 and attended the University of California Sacramento. In 1996, he earned his Enrolled Agent (EA) credentials as a tax professional. He graduated from the National Tax Practice Institute in June of 2000 thus earning the distinguished title of Fellow. As a Fellow, he mastered the very difficult task of resolving both simple and complex tax matters before the Internal Revenue Service. His knowledge of taxes is unsurpassed as taxes are at the very center of making his clients a financial success. By using the right tax strategy for his clients, he is able to minimize the tax burden while addressing client's financial goals. Since he is a Registered Representative and an Investment Advisor Representative for H.D. Vest Investment Services℠., he has a vast amount of choices when it comes to the wealth management opportunities for you. He has also saved his clients money and insured his client’s families by being a Life Agent. David likes for his clients to “Set goals and dreams for the future, but enjoy the life you have today.”

David currently serves as the President of the Board of Trustees for the Yuba City Charter School which has an emphasis on high academic standards while employing the concepts of Capturing Kid's Hearts..  He is a past President for the California Society of Enrolled Agents (CSEA), which has over 4300 members throughout California, and also served on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Enrolled Agents. In addition, he has served on various CSEA committees including two years as Chair of the CSEA Public Information and Awareness Committee and the current Chair of the CSEA PAC. As such, he has been quoted on tax related matters in the Appeal Democrat, the Sacramento Bee, the San Francisco Chronicle, Military Officers Association of America, and various other major publications. In addition, he also speaks to various groups about tax and investment related topics on a regular basis.

Finally, David is a veteran of the United States Air Force where he was assigned to the Air Force Space Command. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife, three children and friends. Some of his favorite activities are working out, collecting wines, riding their three horses, watching and participating in rodeo, and riding his motorcycle.
